Mixcraft • [Maybe SOLVED] The volume controls for master track are not at the right position in the signal flow

The volume controls for the master track are not at the right place in signal flow.

For normal tracks I have a pre gain in the mixer, then come the insert effects and on the track I have a post gain control for the output volume.

For the master track I have 3 pre gain controls. All gain controls reduce the volume before the effects section. There is no way to adjust the output volume. This means that all controls have an influence on my effects in the master. In addition, all volume controls have an influence on the mix down. This can never be right :?

Why should you have 3 pre gain controls on master? And why I can't control my output volume from master?

As a workaround, I now use a gain vst on the master track at the end of the effect chain, which I have to turn off during mixdown.

Normal would probably be on the master track

1. Pre gain in the mixer
2. Master effects
3 This would be the mix down position
4. Post gain for the volume in my headphones

Did I miss something or is it really an issue?

Patrick

[EDIT]
Suddenly the two controls work properly again and control the output volume. I can't say why. Something is strange here. The two volume knobs have regenerated, however that is possible???
