Mixcraft • Adding New Mix Bus to A/B Levels and Effects

I was watching a youtube video by Recording Revolution. He suggested adding a new Mix Bus with no effects so you can A/B between that and the Master and compare the levels of volume, effects, etc. In Mixcraft I'm guessing that would be a Sub Mix track but is it ok to have multiple Sub Mixes going? How would you set it up exactly? Sub Mix currently beyond my level (sad, I know...). Thanks !
