Good day,
I am trying to export a song (mixed and mastered). I first make a time selection on the timeline (since I have a one bar count in) and then go to Mixdown > flag 'use selection' > give it a name and then hit save.
On playback of the exported wav file the beginning of the track is fine without any dead space, but the end of the track has about 4 or so seconds of dead space even though the time selection only went to directly after the music stopped.
I tried to set the timeline selection to end 4 seconds early (in order to find a work around if this is a bug). The music in the exported wav file then cuts of early but the 4 or so seconds of dead space still exists after the abrupt cut.
I'm out of ideas. Is this normal behaviour for Mixcraft or am I missing something? If this is normal, how can I clean up the end of tracks without having to use another editing program, especially when I master tracks. Sending a test mix to clients with dead space at the end is fine but at the end of a master, not so much.
Any suggestions would be helpful.
Thank you.
