Mixcraft • Hotkeys won't allow for assigning certain keys

Is it possible to assign the star key (top right of keyboard) to record? I think Cubase has it like this and after that I changed Reaper and S1 to be like this as well in order to minimize the "muscle memory" change between DAWs.

I tried assigning it with the hotkeys option but it appears like it's being blocked by Mixcraft.
