Mixcraft • Master volume & sub mix levels automatically increasing.

I've been having this problem of late, with Mixcraft 9 Pro Studio - during recording and playback, the master volume suddenly increases, the same happens with a submix track. It's very annoying, especially when recording a take, and there's a sudden jump in volume.
Any ideas?
