I tested S1 again because everyone says it's intuitive now and there's a lyrics track.PreSonus Studio One 7 is due to be released soon for an update price of $149. This will then be repeated annually. A hefty price for an update and no advantages for existing customers. That will probably cost PreSonus customers because they want to force customers to buy Studio One Pro + for $179.
You look at the arranger with a thousand miniature buttons. Half of them do the same thing. The presets and instruments are so confusingly organized. In my opinion, there's nothing intuitive about it at all. If I want to play two instruments in parallel on a track, then I have to mysteriously drop a second instrument onto the same track and select combine. If you then delete the track, the instruments are still there on channels that I never created. And so on. I tried a few other things and it became more and more confusing to use
After two days and 6 hours of reading the manual, I thought this was just too stupid
The best joke is that the non-existent workflow is sold as a feature. The manufacturer also says you can find your own workflow within S1 
In Mixcraft I did all of this in 5 minutes and I've never read the manual to this day.I want to make music and use the DAW features sensibly and not have to find my own workflow in the application because the developers themselves haven't found a useful workflow
