Hi,
It's possible to use Omnisampler in combination with NoteMapper.
The idea is this: Set up 2 instruments on a track
1. NoteMapper
2. OmniSampler
Place all your drum samples in whatever order on the sample pads of OmniSampler.
In NoteMapper, create a map of the standard GM drum kit (C2 = Kick, D2=snare etc.) and assign the output to how your pads are laid out in Omni Sampler. When you play a MIDI file of a standard GM drum track, the MIDI will pass through NoteMapper then get reassigned to the pad you had the sample on in OmniSampler.
You can save the combination of the instruments as a preset. Then you could load the preset next time, everything would already be mapped and if you wanted a new set of drum sounds replace the pads with new samples. Save this as another preset. etc.
