OK I know this is not possible on any DAW I think but I got to ask.
So when I compose I of course do chords. For example, the French horn track with three voices. This is of course only natural and best for composing, rather than putting each voice on a separate track. But....
When it comes time to mixdown to midi so as to open the midi in Musescore, then all those voices on one track (now staff) are a problem. So I have to go back to the Mixcraft project and put each voice on a different track, which is really time-consuming.
What I want is a magic button that would somehow separate the chords into separate tracks. I know that's ridiculous but I have to ask.
I now try to keep the midi/Musescore result in mind when I compose, but I usually don't. I just say I'll fix it later (doh).
