Mixcraft • Trying to incorporate Chordz

I am a new user to Mixcraft and had great success with it - definitely the best thing since sliced bread! I later downloaded Chordz. This appears in the VST list, the device comes up on the screen and is clearly accepting input from both the keyboard and the mouse. The problem is that I can not get any sound from it, or recording input. Any tips as to why, would be greatly appreciated!
