Mixcraft • Grid Lines in tracks and Sound module difficult to see

I have searched the forum, the manual and the online tutorials to no avail. What I would like to do is to be able to see the grid lines THROUGH the audio recording, both on the track and the sound modules. I found one posting where a user ( Mark Bliss if you want to look it up ) shows how to code different colors within Mixcraft. I'm reluctant to try that if I can solve my problem otherwise.

I especially have problems when using the "warp" feature being able to tell where the grid lines actually are. I have tried both the light and the dark skins to no avail. Is there any way to make the grid lines bolder or a different color?

Also, I'm confused about the Sound vs Track views. The audio wave does not line up the same with the track view and the sound view. My first step in using warp was to move the audio file so that beat 1 was on the second beat of the grid line. For instance when I move the caret on the track view to the grid line right at 2, on the Soundview, the caret moves to 1.3.2.

When I physically move the audio in the track view, the audio view stays the same. I am sure that this is something that I am not understanding.

Sorry for the rambling, but I'm not certain how to explain myself. Thanks for your help.
