The best way to tell is to make a few 5 or 10 second video clips and try rendering them to different quality to see what you like. You can extrapolate up to get a rough estimate of the file size for different lengths. I always do the highest quality as my videos tend to be around 5 minutes or less at 1080p. I'm not too serious about them. They average around 70MBs depending on a few factors. The resolution is a big part - 8k vs 1080p and 192Khz vs 44.1Khz audio would definitely affect file size.
