Mixcraft • Error when mixing down to MP3

I usually only mix down to .wav but had to do an mp3 on this occasion. However, when I played the file back there was about 5 seconds silence at the beginning of the track then everything was out of sync for another 5 seconds or so??

Anybody else had this issue?
