I have used Mixcraft 6 for years and never encountered the following issue until tonight. I have a sound effect on a certain track. It is part of a four-track sequence. When I play the sequence from the MX6 file, it sounds fine and includes everything. However, when I export the entire thing as an mp3, the sound effect in question is not included in the mp3 export. I tried moving that sound to a different track, in case anything was unusual about the track. But the sound still will only play in the MX6 file. The sound effect simply will not export when I export everything as an mp3.
The sound effect has been used before an never caused a problem. It's just an mp3 sound effect (of a crowd booing).
Hope I've made that clear enough and someone can tell me what might be causing this issue.

PS I tried exporting as a wav. But the same problem comes up: the sound does not export.
I have uploaded other SFX and they work. I guess there is something unusual about this particular mp3, although I have used it before without problem. I do not know what could cause it to work okay in MX6 but to be unable to export as usual.
