Hi Greg, your advice to clean the space disk by the mean of the 'save to new projects' is gorgeous but a little boring I think. I've red in the user guide that the REPLACE mode recording does not keep the unwanted recording at contrario of TAKE or OVERDUB options.
I was sad to find a lot of duplicate FLAC files with numbers of the same armed track this afternoon.
I might misunderstood something, What the difference then, between replace and take? Only the fact that lanes are visibles on the display? If that it is, I'll change my recording method to 'TAKE' for it's more easy to clean up the projet after the ultimate mix-down.
Maybe I'm old school but I hate full garbages on my HDD.
Maybe a simple way is possible in the future release. IE a new command cleanup at any time of those duplicates files left behind and unwanted definitely.
Thanks to be there for us listening grumpys Papy like me.
