My only way is click where mouse curser is to get caret there . That’s what I do when I want to split clip. It’s not perfect though.

I use Adobe Premiere Elements video editing software. It has time line just like Mixcraft.
When ever you want to edit either video tracks or audio tracks you grab what is called time line indicator and it’s the same as Mixcraft playhead”vertical yellow line flag”.
In Adobe you can grab that with left click and move wherever you need to and edit.
I’ll grab and pull to right so you can look at video manually fast or slow how fast I move mouse.
Mixcraft should have the same.
