Hello!
I previously ran into Mixcraft crashing opening up certain projects. I was able to get around this by disabling all my VSTs and "resetting" each track in a new saved version of the project. Unfortunately, I've hit a new snag that doesn't seem like it should be performance/computer spec related. These are happening in brand new projects (though there has been no more crashing loading into previous projects that had the workaround!)
There are two very undesirable behaviors that is almost consistent for me now:
1) On playback of project, Mixcraft unresponsive with very low frame rate if at all - cannot monitor visual effects such as a parametric EQ this way, and often times I have to force Mixcraft closed as I'm unable to stop playback.
2) I use two monitors, with the second monitor below the first. If I move a VST or FX window to my second monitor, it is unable to be interacted with - the window cannot be moved and the VST controls cannot be interacted with. It is effectively frozen until I remove the VST from the track and put it in again so it resets to the first monitor.
Additionally, there are two other behaviors that suggest something is wrong:
1) Open closing Mixcraft normally or force closing through task manager, about 40% of the time there is still a process of Mixcraft open. This causes additional issues if I try to launch Mixcraft again as there's now multiple processes and causing more performance issues.
2) I don't seem to have any crash logs at all. Considering the situations it's a little surprising to me that one hasn't been generated or written to...
Overall... I'm sorry if I fudged things up somehow on my machine! It doesn't seem like this is a common issue with users so I don't know what I did![:shock:]( "Shocked")
