When playing live, I load different virtual instruments to different tracks, assign each track a different midi channel and select or arm them all. Then I can rapidly switch instruments by changing channels on my midi keyboard. I would like to assign a single fader on my keyboard (previous generation Keylab 49 essential) to control volume, regardless of the current midi channel, but when I assign the mixcraft volume control to a keyboard fader using "edit control surface settings" it can only work on one channel at a time. If I try to assign multiple track faders to a control it only allows the control to be assigned to one track fader. Somehow, however, the single rotary knob on my Irig 37 Pro does exactly what I want-controls master volume on any channel- but I don't know how. I suspect there's a simple solution to this. Anyone?
